Orders and Shipping

Please note that because all pieces are handcrafted and are mostly made-to-order, larger orders may take a minimum of 2 weeks.  To allow for the preparation of your special piece, please note that orders will generally be shipped within 5 to 7 business days.  Some items may require a longer lead time (such as custom or special orders).  If your order requires additional time, we will contact you at your email address that you have provided.  Please allow at least 7 to 10 business days (excluding holidays) for the delivery of your package via the United States Postal Service.

All items will be wrapped in a box with a ribbon (picture coming soon).

To place an order

You may place an order using our convenient online shopping cart. Select the items you'd like to purchase and click "add to cart" for each item. The items will be added to your shopping cart. Please select your home state (for tax purposes) and select your shipping method. Shipping charges will be automatically calculated. When finished shopping, simply click "check out" and you will be redirected to PayPal where you have the opportunity to pay with any major credit card. If you prefer not to pay using PayPal, please note that we also accept money orders and personal checks (will be held for 10 days to ensure clearance).

All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service Priority Mail and will include Delivery Confirmation. You will receive an email when you order has been shipped. Shipping costs are as follows:

Returns/Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and we want your experience at On a Friday to be a great one.  If you are not completely satisfied, you may return or exchange your purchase within 10 business days.  If you would like to make a return or exchange, please notify us via email so we can make those arrangements. Sorry, no refund on shipping and handling charges.

We will promptly arrange the refund upon receipt of the returned item under the condition that all criteria listed in this policy are met, at which time you will receive email confirmation.  You will be credited for the returned item less the original shipping and handling charged.  The refund shall be made in the same method of payment the original purchase was made.

When returning your package, please include the following:
1) Unworn item(s) in its original condition.  Item(s) altered in any way cannot be accepted.
2) A copy/original invoice.
3) Please let us know the reason for your return/exchange.  We strive to provide great service and products for all of our customers.

Please use a padded envelope or box for your return/exchange.  We strongly recommend insuring your mail or using a method such as UPS or FedEx to have a record of your return.  We are not responsible for lost or damaged items. Please mail returned items to:

In order to improve our customer services, we may contact individuals who have ordered or emailed us expressing interest in the website and/or our products on a semi-regular basis. If you wish to be removed from the mailing list, please simply email us with your request. You will be removed from the list as soon as possible.

Jewelry Care

For the best life of your jewelry pieces, try the following…

Lotions, soaps and natural skin oils build up on jewelry.  Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, hairsprays and other chemicals.  Try putting on your jewelry last, after you have gotten dressed and ready.

Store your jewelry in a dry, clean fabric-lined box.  An airtight bag or pouch will also work nicely. 

It is natural for all metals, in particular silver, to oxidize with exposure to air and other natural environmental factors.  Try to store your jewelry in a dry, clean fabric-lined box.  An airtight bag or an anti-tarnish pouch would also be sufficient.  If your jewelry happens to tarnish, you can restore its shine by using a soft polishing cloth.  Please avoid solvents or harsh chemicals, especially when dealing with jewelry that have pearls and gemstones.
